Pre-kindergarten 3's
Children learn best through discovery that gives them a natural curiosity and eagerness for learning. Our preschool program is based on the philosophy that children learn best when given the opportunity to experience a variety of organized hands-on activities. By taking a multi-sensory approach to learning, we provide developmentally appropriate experiences that meet the individual needs of each child at their own pace.
We strive to develop the whole child including social, emotional, intellectual and physical development in a nurturing, noncompetitive environment with well-equipped center based classrooms that
inspire exploration. Your child will learn interdependence, creativity, self-help and problem solving skills. He/she will also develop school readiness skills that will positively impact later
educational experiences and promote a lifelong positive attitude toward learning.
We aided in acheving these goals by using Mother Goose Time Curriculum We have widely researched alot of curriculums and feel this provides the goals that meet all of our children's
needs.
TSR Four's and TSR Five's
The Education Station Academy's Pre-k Four's and the Transitional Kindergarten are enhanced Pre-K classes preparing and ensuring that children are prepared for kindergarten. These classrooms are certified as "Texas School Ready" Programs though the UT@Houston grant program.
The choice of curriculum is the Scholastic Big Day for Pre-k used by public schools nation wide to expand skills and independent learning of children transitioning into kindergarten. With learning
objectives derived from a cross-analysis of state requirements, this curriculum features a systematic phonemic and phonilogical approach that gives children the skills to become strong readers.
Hands-on activities for language arts, science, math, and social studies provide extended opportunities for discovery.
Personal conferences are set up with your child's teacher three times a year after each professional assesment. You will find out how your child is progressing and the plan to further help them succeed.
